The warp is made of yarn dyed in dark colors by rope-dyeing, and the weft is made of 16-ounce selvedge denim with twin twisting yarns of No. 20 silk. Normal denim shrinks about 3% after washing, but Momotaro has fine-tuned the shrinkage rate of the fabric for this product and succeeded in reducing it to about 0% to 2%.
